Cookie Policy

01Cookies vs. local storage
A cookie is a small piece of data a site asks your browser to store and send back on later requests to the same server. Local storage is a similar browser feature, except it is never automatically sent back to any server — it just sits in your browser until a site reads it or you clear it. Craftprolib uses mostly local storage for its own features, plus one narrow functional cookie for admin login; Google AdSense sets its own cookies separately, as described below.
02Full inventory
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
craftprolib:saved | Local storage | Craftprolib (first-party) | Remembers which prompts you've bookmarked on this device | Until you clear browser data |
craftprolib:viewed | Local storage | Craftprolib (first-party) | Short history used to power the “Recommended for you” rail | Until you clear browser data (capped list) |
craftprolib_session | HTTP cookie (functional) | Craftprolib (first-party) | Keeps a logged-in administrator authenticated. Never set for ordinary visitors. | Session / until logout or expiry |
| Google AdSense cookies | Cookies & similar tech | Google (third-party) | Ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and — where permitted — personalization | Set and controlled by Google; varies by cookie |
03What Craftprolib itself stores
Craftprolib does not set any first-party tracking or advertising cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for exactly two things:
- Saved prompts — the list of prompts you've bookmarked, so they're waiting for you on your next visit, on this device and browser only.
- Recently viewed — a short, capped list of prompts you've opened, used only to personalize the “Recommended for you” rail on this device.
Neither item is ever transmitted to our servers as part of this feature; it stays in your browser. A signed-in site administrator additionally receives one functional, first-party cookie that keeps them logged into the admin panel — this is not set for regular visitors and carries no advertising or tracking purpose.
04What Google AdSense stores
This Site is monetized with Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies (and similar technologies such as device identifiers) to measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where permitted, personalize the ads you see. We do not control these cookies directly, and their exact names, values, and lifetimes are defined by Google and may change over time. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings, and read Google's own explanation at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
If you later add your own analytics tool, a comment/newsletter widget, or any other third-party script, add a row to the table above and, in stricter jurisdictions such as the EU/UK, consider adding a consent banner before those specific scripts load.
05How to control or delete these
You can clear everything listed on this page at any time — doing so simply resets your saved prompts and recommendations and, if applicable, logs an administrator out. It does not break the Site.
- Chrome / Edge: Site settings → Cookies and site data → Clear data for this site.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search the site → Remove.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search the site → Remove.
- Any browser: Opening a private/incognito window avoids persisting these across sessions entirely.
